Crescenciano
One day I was drinking coffee with an Indian who I was attempting to win to Christ. I told him that I pray for the sick believing that God can heal them. He told me that he had just come from a village about an hour from his home where there was a man with a paralyzed hand. He said, "Why don't you go pray for him?" So I did. Jaime recovered full movement within a few times of visiting him and the church of Osomatlan was born. Soon after, I was talking to a brother in a village nearby who had met a man with Tuberculosis in Osomatlan. His name is Crescenciano. Crescenciano had heard that Jaime was healed and had sent word through the brother that he wanted us to pray for him. Crescenciano was the main violin player for the Roman Catholic church in his village and would participate in all the diabolical activities and pagan festivals they held. He would walk down the streets playing tunes for the Virgin Mary idol adorned in all her "glory" being carried on poles because it seems, she can not walk. He would play when the men of the town dress up like women during carnival and dance around getting drunk yelling perverse gestures. I went to his home with a few brothers and spoke with him. He repented and gave his life to Jesus. We laid hands on him in Jesus' name. The brothers began visiting him while I was away for a few weeks when they would go to the church there and pray for him. When I got back they told me that he was healed and was visiting another sick man encouraging him to believe for his healing as well. When I went to the church service there in his village, he had brought his violin and was playing with the “trio” making it more like a "quartet". Two violins, a guitar and a jarana. It was a moment I think I will always remember. What a wonderful new addition to the family. Welcome home Crescenciano.
